Mr Player
I have a Nordic magazine extension on my Benelli M1. In the end cap (by the muzzle) there is a hole. Can I fill it??? I want to use it to affix a magazine capacity limiter? My thought is that is might be ok but that that hole might be there for air to escape as I am shoving shells in on the other side. Could I put a carbide tip in it so that I can break automobile windows as I am clearing them from my armchair(commando)???
Smokecloud
i think that hole might be functional, when you load fast, the displaced air can escape it. i doubt the follower is tight enough to cause it to lock up though.
ziebart
How many rounds do you need to reduce your capacity by? I have a 10 round tube on my 26" SX3 and just use the plug it came with to ensure I don't load more than 8 rounds in USPSA. If you don't have your plug they sell them at walmart. bpowe
If you slip a cleaning rod in that hole in a Nordic tube then through the spring, it captures the spring to make screwing the tube on and off much easier. I believe that is the only purpose of the hole.

EkuJustice
Seen a friend who had a tube custom built by a machinest for a browning gold 10 ga without the hole. It did not work right and hung hung the follower. I hole was added and works perfect
whistlepig
Holes are functional. Ref the carbide tip for windows, Don't sell yourself short. Mount a Bayonet lug
