Solution for follower flip

Tried that, no good.

Grams stacks differently and lost a round in capacity with the same spring length.

(Well, actually lost 2 rounds. Stock spring & follower 18, with Bolen 19 and Grams only 17)

Donny gave you sound advice. Take it or leave it. If you want to maximize Bolens guts you have to modify the STI tubes. The ribs need extended inside the tube. Send it to somebody who does that kind of work for best results.

Or dump the Bolens and save the money and get 100% reliability with one less round or maybe two.

If down loading and reload practice would be the answer for all questions we all would be shooting Single Stack.

Luckilly this is not the case.

The question remains, are there any tweaks regarding follower flips?

Hello: If you want the Bolen follower/spring to work in a STI mag tube you will have to narrow the tube till it stops turning over. You will also have to to extend the ribs of the magazine down to near the bottom. This may also will effect how many rounds you get into the tube. The Bolen follower can be made to work if you take some time to make it work. Hope this helps. Thanks, Eric

Sounds familiar.

I thought my post was pretty clear. Read the part again about modifying the mags.wink.gif
