Rocky Patel
I loaded up 100 rounds of 180 grain precision delta Full metal jacket with 4.2-4.3 grains of titegroup and a 1.190OAL. Can anyone who shoots an STI edge .40 5inch tell me if this load is ok to shoot out of that gun? being a little careful with this one. I blew up my glock this weekend and didn't want a repeat performance with my new gun..
fastarget
I dont think it is a problem, it is close to major PF or even a bit less, you are loaded long, so that will give you a cushion.......
EkuJustice
Shouldnt be an issue. It is loaded long, with a very modest charge ie will not be major. Did you ever figure out what caused the glock to blow up? How did the glock blowup also ? Doublecharge? if so look into EVERY case before you seat the bullet to make sure the charge looks good. Was it bullet setback? My load calls for typically 4.6 of TG and a 180JHP to make major out of a 6 inch gun.
pagoda240
Yesterday , I did 4.2 of TG 180JHP with 1.17OAL in Fusion 6 in and averaged a 168 power factor.

norbs007
My load with TG is 4.5gr with Zero 180gr JHP at 1.190-1.195. I average 168 PF through a 5" 2011 gun. With MG 180gr FMJ, I was using 4.7gr of TG.
Rocky Patel
UPDATE: the load I was asking about shot like a 9mm shooting cotton balls. Smooth and soft and no problems what so ever in my gun. Thanks for the confidence booster. I was shitin' bricks before the first round went off. After that it was smooth sailing..
