Would you shave/file part of the ramp to remedy the issue, and the mag lips?

Hello - just wanted to get your opinion/suggestion on the attached pics. Local gunsmith build the gun and I noticed that the barrel ramp is way off the frame causing it to hit the mag lip (Barrel ramp is Para/Clark). What is the potential issue/s if I continue to use the gun? I currently having some battery issues, and sometime feeding issues like nose dive. Did the gunsmith mistakenly cut the frame ramp to much? I've looked at all my 1911 & 2011 guns and none have the ramps are way off like that, it's mostly flushed to the frame. Can that be adjusted fix still? TIA!

Plated is almost the same as lead. I load 4.8gr of S1K on a 180 BearCreek TC. OAL 1.180 on Limcat Wildcat gun. I hope that helps.

My experience is my PF at NorCal before going to 2010 Limited Nats is 171 PF. However when I got in to chrono stage. It drop by 2 1/2 points to 168.5 PF. I'm still happy since it still made major. That is n320 powder on a CZ75 TS gun.

Interesting... try shortening your OAL to 1.165 to 1.170. Also on my Open Gun (5"barrel), I use 8.2gr of Vit 3n37 to make major.

2 clubs in NorCal (NCPS & TargetMaster) both have 6 stages that includes 1 classifier. TargetMaster have only 3 bays but manage to double up the stage every month to have 6 exciting stages.

I've run my CZ TS with Bear Creek for a year with no problem. Bear creek and solo 1000 is a good combo.

I''m using Lee sizing, sitting & FCD. I have not see any issue. I load MG HP, bear creek truncated & Zero flat nose with no difference. Just need to adjust my OAL.

Silhoutte 7.9gr over 124gr MG, 1.170 OAL gives me 170PF.
