benos
Five of us - me, Candis, BigJoni and her boyfriend Garn, and my homie Petey (lilgary) were planning to camp for a long weekend at Joshua Tree (CA). Since you cannot reserve camping spaces, Petey headed out this morning (4+ hour drive) to secure a couple spots for us. Well the ultra sad news - it's completely full - not one spot available. So poor Petey is on his way back. But the good news is, in an hour or so, we can all drive to the Rocks outside of Florence, or to Queen Creek, where there will be great places to camp and hike, lots of rock climbing, and very few other people. Happy Thanksgiving to everyone! We'll see you all on the forums next week. be

benos
Check my ponds out there for water please Everything was pretty dried up. We went, all of us for the first time, to Hackberry canyon. And man was it spectacular - it would be awesome to be there when the falls were flowing: http://www.toddshikingguide.com/Hikes/Arizona/Misc/Misc17.htm be
