Hello All,

Well I just received my Press and related Items and Manuals and I'm about ready to start loading

I thought I would check in to see what some of you are using for loads.

I have a 9mm CZ Shadow that is stock and will be using it for IPSC and perhaps PPC

I believe I will try the Federal Primers and windchester 231 powder not sure of the bullets yet

Suggestions for:

Bullets:

Primer:

Powder:

Also, We have a PPC 38 Special model 10 K frame I am thinking the same primers and powder but using a 148 G Wadcutter

Suggestions for:

Bullets:

Primer:

Powder:

We also have a Glock 22 40 S&W and shoot 357 Mag and was wondering if the 231 and federial primers will be ok for those loads

Thanks In advance

Cheers

Brian

I use Win 231, with Winchester Small Pistol Primers (WSP). I use Montana Gold 124gr JHP in both a Glock 34 and Glock 17 pistols. I use 4.5 gr of Win 231, at an oal of 1.124 in both pistols. Good Luck.

WW231 is a great powder to start with, any small

pistol primers are fine, and your choice of 115,

124 or 147 gr bullets - they feel different, and

some people prefer one or the other - I prefer the

147's because they have a gentle push rather than

a sharp recoil. But, it's all preference.

And the 147's are much more accurate in my gun.

Good luck, you'll find the "perfect" load for

your guns by experimenting.

for the 148 HBWC and 231... 3.1 grs. if swaged and 3.3 if plated.. seated flush with mild crimp ( barely noticeable )

in the future if you get some Bullseye powder = 2.7 grains (swaged)

.357 Mag I prefer 2400 powder so I can't help you there,..

Hope this helps...

John
