Religious Shooter
I just got my bottles. The instructions say not to spread on the entire pad as it would make the pad too slick to stay mounted to the shoulder and the "pad would not be allowed to work." Did you guys follow this instruction? Or did you ignore it? Also, I have an 1100 with the synthetic stock and OEM pad. Did you guys reshape your pads? If so, what did you sand/cut out? The shotgun will be used for 3-gun exclusively.
Singlestack
Slick Eez is good stuff. I just put it on the top half of the pad. It is so slick, if you put it on the whole pad it would be hard to keep the gun in place.

lynn jones
cy, ooops, i thought he wanted to round over the top of the recoil pad to keep it from snagging on the shirt when mounting the gun. lynn

Religious Shooter
I put it on about three months ago to the whole pad. I personally didn't have any problems with it comming off my shoulder. My problem now is that after three months a lot of it has flaked off. I'm gonna have to reapply it. But should it wear off like that?
