Brian Enos's Forums... Maku mozo!

Detroit oct. 24-nov 6

Come one day earlier (the 23rd) and you can shoot our final outdoor match at the Wayne County Raccoon Hunters Club. We throw the best club match in the midewest as we offer 8-10 stages (200+) rounds on average for $25. I have shot many Level III match's arounds the country that are not as good.

Our match on the 23rd is the Plastic Fantastic match......polymer frames only (for score). 3 Divisions to compete in (full size, compact and sub compact) using factory flush magazines, minor scoring for everything regardless and production gear (holsters/pouches). 9 stages, 200+ rounds and some serious competition. We normaly have 60+ shooters show up and since this is the last USPSA outdoor match in the metro area, we will probally have more than the average. I will start posting more info on the match the end of this week or the following for sure. If you have questions, feel free to contact me or Too Slow (Brian Killam-our stats king). We get shooters from Toronto Canada, Grand Rapids Michigan and even from Canton Ohio on a regular basis so they will tell you it is worth the drive. Hope this was enough to tempt you into attending.

D-oh...

Who has 5 or 6 G26 mags ??!!

I think I have one that is flush and one that has a pinky extension on it. When I shoot my G26 in matches, I end up using my G17 mags (which are USPSA legal now).

Let me know if that might change...I'd like to make it and shoot the sub-compact G26.

I think I have eight or so, because when I bring a G-26 to a match, I don't cheat the reloads by using fullsize mags..... :D :D

.....though I probably should, because six second reloads are embarrassingly slow....

Hoping to fit it in the schedule.

Sorry for the short post. I was on the bike sitting in traffic. (Literally sitting...bike turned off...interstate closed due hazmat/fatality)

Yeah...I am working the gears to try to get to this match. And, I'd like to shoot the sub-compact, but don't have the mags. If you had some spares, that would be awesome!

Kyle,

Save the G17 mags for your detour downtown Detroit after the match on the way to the Casino's right? Ya never know when a multigun match might break out when you are down there.

Yes, if you use a G26, then you have to have G26 mags. I have had the same discussion with others about the G19 and using G17 mags. This way all things are equal without going into too much effort. Full size and compact will get a lot of competitors. I don't know how many competitors will run subcompact division so this should be interesting.

Allways happy to have you Flex......just for the entertainment factory alone!!!!!!!!!!

Safe travels my friend. See ya then.
