Racer377
Can anyone post of a pic of the Custom's disconnector rail? The CZ Custom site says it's polished and I'm curious just how highly polished it is. I'm noticing that my non Custom shadow is slightly pushing the top round in the mag forward as it cycles. As a result, every so often the mag doesn't drop free. The breach face corner has already been broken, and it looks like there's some degree of polish on the disconnector rail, but it's not much. burningsquirrels
it should be smooth as a baby's butt. doens't need a mirror finish, just smooth so it doesn't drag it forwards. the problem can also be made worse with excessively strong mag springs, pushing the ammo hard against the underside of the slide. burningsquirrels
by comparison, i run standard replacement mag springs, no plus power in my 16 rounders. they have about 80 matches on them and they still work fine. replacement comes up this winter though. Racer377
Thanks for the response. Work filter says the link is pure evil, so I'll have to check it out when I get home. My rail is smooth for the most part, but the grain is visible, if that makes sense.
burningsquirrels
My grain is visible too, but so long as it is slick it should be fine.
Racer377
Good to know. I'll hit it with some Flitz tonight to smooth it out a bit.

Racer377
Thanks! Seems like it helped. I just hand cycled a few dummy rounds. Before, the top round would be moved slightly forward. Now, no movement at all, even with my CZ 19rd mags w/+10% springs. I'll find out this weekend if it works in live fire.
