CocoBolo
how do you check for recoil spring bind in a sti edge i have tried to search this and havent found any detailed answers thanks for any info Ok this is too easy. 1. remove slide from gun. 2. Remove barrel. 3. Put recoil plug guide rod and spring in slide. 4. Push end of Recoil rod till it touches the recoil plug. If you cannot push the recoil rod all the way to the recoil plug then you got coil bind. If it goes all the way, you are good. This is the simpliest form of the test. Get an IMSI recoil spring and you will never have coil bind, you will sleep bettter at night.
wide45
The ISMI 12.5lb will stack solid in an EGW reverse plug. Easy to fix, and my fav.
warpspeed
If you are running a full length guide rod, you should not be having any binding.
