DyNo!
Finished it last night - a damn good movie based on The Eagle of the Ninth. Whoever designed the costumes did the most exceptional job I've seen of this type. The camera work is great too - not too much shaky cam like you'd expect. The only downside is that much of the movie is in Gaelic which is great but instead of Latin or Greek, the actors speak American English which is really the only thing that detracts from the atmosphere of the movie. The critics didn't like it but they didn't like "Cowboys and Aliens" either. See it! Edited August 5, 2011 by DyNo!

nheiny13
It was pretty good but as the OP said, American English detracts from the atmosphere of the movie. What bothered me was when they used modern military type phrases such as "Yes Sir" and "Fall in." Other than that, it was very entertaining. Coach
I liked the movie. I watched the trailer and was a bit nervous about renting it but the huge homosexual scene I dreaded never materilized.
