Aircooled6racer
Hello: That is good to klnow that the plated bullets don't tumble in the revolvers. I'll get some coming then. The powders I will try are Tite Group, Clays, N320 since that is what I have for my other pistols. Thanks, Eric
jason237m
I wanted to revive this thread since I'm just now getting into SSR shooting in IDPA. Does anyone have a Clay's recipe over a Berry's 158 they are shooting? I'm especially interested in the OAL you might be using to make the 105pf. John Wayne
Tite G 4.4, 125 grain round nose @ $54/1000 waxed lead, Federal primer. Use a tight crimp, no smoke. We shoot IDPA with this load. I don't give out my bullet suppliers name!
hkguy
I finally settled on 3.6 grs of W231 , bayou 160 gr LRN, CCI 500 primers at 1.55. Should give me a PF of right around 115 (i like having a little cushion) and im having my loads chrono'd soon. produces no smoke and feels like im shooting a .22 pistol
TonyT
I use a 158 gr, LRN or a 125 gr. Pointed lead bullet with Trail Boss powder. Virtually impossible to double charge a case with Trail Boss and one can easilly see the powder drop in the long 38 Special 0r 357 magnum cases. earthshine402
I just tested out some Missouri 158 gr LRN yesterday. Nice results. I crimped in the grove enough so the rounds would glide into the cylinder without hanging up.
