Why did ETTS drop 3 gun?

Thank you for the heads up, do you have a link to the match? It's 3 hours from me, but if I am out that way I will check it out.

Did some searches but didn't have much luck (apologies if my search skills are lacking), with the closure of the range near Cresson, can anyone point me to some regular/recurring 3 gun matches in the North Texas/Dallas area? I'm eager to get back into it.

Same here, I am building up a new .308 for Heavy, and have always used a Nova for my shotgun and would love to upgrade the shotgun. Any suggestions for anyone in the USA that can workup a Nova for 3gun?

I have loaded Berry's 158gr round nose bullets for years, but they have since discontinued that bullet. Does anyone know of a replacement that has the same basic parameters? I am trying to avoid a flat point.

I need suggestions for a light weight (preferably titanium) for a pencil profile barrel (.625 diameter). Cost isn't as important as the weight. Building a new AR for 3 gun and going for minimum weight.

I used to do it too, till I had one go off. Scared the kids to death and damaged my press. Not worth it to me, ever.

I made master in ESR and SSR when they were separate divisions. After they merged I kept my 686. The recoil advantage with .38 more than makes up for moonclips.

CCI for easy seating for sure, but if you have a light strike issue Win (or better yet Federal) are the way to go.

Pull it, the 20 cents in the round isn't worth even a miss or frustration on your part.

I have noticed titegroup is more senstive than most to temp changes.

I shot limited division for years, you likely won't notice much difference after 300 between the bullet weights. Your shots just aren't that precise at range.

I would also make sure your press is running smooth and has firm foundation, I've seen issues with presses shaking causing it.

2 questions regarding tac heavy. 1. Has it been officially stated that tac heavy shooting 9mm pistol needs to put two rounds on target to neutralize? The rules, as written, are not clear. 2. Magazines for rifle cannot contain more than 20, does that mean we can start with 20 in the mag and one in the chamber?

Recently shot my first major 3-gun match in the heavy division and the pump shotgun was by far my biggest issue. Any suggestions out there for a person or place to get some help on upgrades to help eliminate short strokes?

+1 on the BHW barrel and customer support. I am breaking in a new 18" .308 barrel lightweight profile barrel. It is a tack driver with 110gr AMAX

You might consider getting a titanium firing pin.
