Steve RA
Anyone using this scope?? Looks like it might be an alternative to all the similiar ones. Blcksmk
I think some are using the 1-3 power scope made by Weaver. I will be using the 1-3 power scope when I build my 3-Gun AR.
Jesse Tischauser
I am gonna order one. The retake looks a little BUSY but a $500 1-5 is a bargain.
caz41
Reticle is similar to the Burris XTR
moose76
The Optics Planet's ad is incorrect. That is not the reticle that comes with that scope. Weaver's website shows that scope only comes with the Heavy Dual-X reticle. Weaver Super Slams The CIRT reticle comes on the Weaver 1-5x24 Tactical. Weaver Tacticals SWFA has them for $660. Steve RA
The optics planet ad shows both reticles, if you look down a little under "reticles", it shows both. Depending on whether you click on CIRT or Dual-X it changes the price in the main portion of the ad. I just wondered if anyone is using the scope - and if so - what they think of it. Jesse Tischauser
Is that Dual X illuminated?
moose76
The ad still sucks because those are still two different scopes, not just the same scope with a different reticle. The Super Slam version is not illuminated, no illumination knob. I have been curious about this scope too, here is what I have been able to scrape up on it so far: Arfcom Thread Sniper's Hide
Steve RA
I agree about the ad. I think the one with the CIRT reticle is the "Dangerous Game Scope". I'm a little confused as the upper link in your post - in the poster's pics - doesn't seem to show the CIRT reticle, as near as I can tell?? Anyone else have any personal experience with this scope ??
Steve RA
Here is the info from Weaver's site on the CIRT reticle. http://www.weaveroptics.com/downloads/WO267_CIRT_Reticle_11_x_8-5.pdf

God I hate that forum format!! Anybody have one of these yet? Their reviews are good but never anywhere near the context of someone that shoots competition like 3 gun with one. One guy said he paid $475 at MidwayUSA with a coupon. One guy said it weighed 27 oz. I'd like to confirm or deny these posts but it doesn't appear that I can do that over there. moose76
ccoker started a thread about a couple of his new rifle builds. He used the Weaver 1-5x Tactical on one of them and makes a couple of comments about the scope in the thread. a few 3 gun bulds Maybe he has some updated impressions he could share with us.
