prodfastc
I remember my first match when was 15 I should have been DQ because a 180 trying to push the mag release but the owner of the gun range and also the RO stopped me and pulled me off to the side and went over the rules again and took me under his wing and taught me the ropes of our SPORT Thanks Hamp for teaching me 10 years ago Perks to the young man for taking it so well and im sure hes happy he learned a lesson even at the cost of a DQ Edited October 30, 2011 by prodfastc
Roadrider18
Regretfully, I did not handle my one and only DQ as gracefully. Hindsight is always so much clearer after the embarrassment subsides. But, embarrassment is much easier to face then hurting someone due to an ND. My hats off to both you and your son. A memory he will retain for many many decades to come! laz2011
Your son took the DQ like a grown up.I have seen grown men argue the call even before they unload and show clear. And for to long after the Match Director confirm the call.Way to go. JKSNIPER
An honorable young man who obviously was taught well... Good job Dad. You must be proud. JK
leadslinger275
Sounds like you've raised a good son... I have two young sons of my own (5 and 1). I hope I do a good enough job as their dad that they turn out with as much integrity as it sounds like your boy has.
Shadyscott999
This is an example of excellent parenting. Based on your son's behavior after the fact, it is obviously not the first example. Good on both of you.
