Rufus The Bum
For those who have one. What diameter are the Poppleholes on the ProSx? Thanx
Brazos Custom
For those that have one I would appreciate it if you would keep it confidential. There are enough bad copies of the Pro Sx out there as it is.
shred
I'm going to respect Bob's desires and development effort and not measure mine ('sides, I'm lazy that way ) The "TJ holes" spec is on here if you search, and honestly I can't tell a lot of difference between the two (I have blasters with both), although the Poppleholes seem to lose less velocity and are just a tad quieter. Rufus The Bum
My question has been answered. My apologies if the Poppleholes are a trade secret. I was only curious as to how they compare to other barrel ports. Thanks.
Brazos Custom
I was only curious as to how they compare to other barrel ports. Thanks. That I can answer. They are smaller to reduce the amount of bleed off so the comp works better and to reduce the blast level and velocity loss that accompanies most larger ports. Mad Scientist
looking at the ports they look around an 1/8 inch ???? My ports are around 3/16 I have tried ports around the size in Bobs gun and they are effective althought they give up alittle on the softnes side. Bare in mind That Bob has a much different comp design Than I am useing His set up looks very flat when I have seen them shot and the shooters that have them seem very happy with them.Best of all Bobs guns historicly run and run and run. for me that has to be the main factor in any competition gun purchase. mcoliver
If you can only drill ports in the barrel without any comp, 1. is there an optimal size? 2. any benefits doing an in-line vs. v-type formation of the holes? 3. anybody tried doing a comp type pattern in the hole size (holes get smaller as it approaches the muzzle end)? Thanks for your replies.
