KyroWebs
Unfortunately I don't have the luxury of a back-up gun, so for those in a similar situation what wisdom can you pass down? Also....for those more seasoned, what "extras" should I consider bringing along? (extra parts, screwdriver, cylinder brush, stuff like that)
jar
If you're shooting a moon clip gun, have enough clips for the whole match, and load them and check them in your gun before the match. Transport them in something that protects them from getting bent.
GlockCanMan
If your gun has a FO front sight I would bring a spare length of Fiber to replace it with in case it breaks. Allow for extra ammo in case you might have to reshoot a stage.
GMM50
I bring a chamber brush to do the cylinders and a regular brush to do the rear face of the cylinder. Extra ammo.
Carmoney
Don't worry....I'll have an extra gun along, so it can be your back-up gun too. Just in case, you might want to hand-seat your primers to ensure your ammo will work in it.
Jaxshooter
Carmoney steps up again.
