MrVvrroomm
What model number M&P's have the newer striker? I have no direct answer to your question, but if you find one for a good deal, buy it. Then call S&W and they'll send you out a new assembly.

MemphisMechanic
What model number M&P's have the newer striker? Personally, I wouldn't worry about it. you know why? Because I'm of the opinion that even with the new striker, you should really buy a spare striker assembly to keep in your spare parts kit. My gun came with the old striker. It now lives in my range bag, ready to go.
toddje
I think that just about everything you're going to find now (new) is going to have the new design (stainless) striker. If I understand it right, the "bad" striker is easily identified because it's black (MIM part) and the "good" striker is stainless. So if you just field strip a pistol you can tell straight away. Can someone confirm that?
