I have always placed my rear sights in the center of the slide... Unfortunately, I always shoot a little to the left, also... I have always thought it was a problem with my shooting... This is the first time I have heard of other shooting left with Glocks... I don't know whether to feel good or bad...

Poor trigger control. that the reason we need to practice...

All of us with our sight pushed to the right. We've found our answer.

That is one way of looking at it.

Consider this, if the sights and the barrel were in mechanical alignment (without the sights drifted)...then it has to be the shooter's interaction with the gun, correct?

If you adjust the sights to correct for the shooter's interaction with the gun (as opposed to adjusting the shooter)...then you have taken the sights out of mechanical alignment with the gun. That would have to mean, at some distance*, the point of aim and point of impact will be off in windage.

* The question becomes... At what distance does the mechanical mis-alignment become a real factor in point of impact? If we know the offset (from mechanical zero), and the sight radius, we can do the math.
