Hondo 60
I'm almost too embarrassed to tell you guys about this... Sometimes those ah-ha moments are good & bad all at the same time. Good, in that you finally figured it out, bad in that you kinda feel stupid for not figuring it out way before. I bought a 2nd hand Dillon RL 550B around the end of last November. Ever since, I've been whining about the priming system. Either it wasn't dropping primers, or it would spit them all out at once. About 2 weeks ago it spit all out & I didn't notice it & crushed the Primer feed stop pin. Well I called Dillon & they sent 2 new ones. But it only got worse Until this morning. I stopped & was looking at it, and it suddenly dawned on me, it was in backwards. There's a bolt holding a little trap door & the previous owner had ignored that & put it in from the other side. I put it in the correct way & just reloaded 4 boxes & only once did it not drop a primer.

Pat Miles
When I pull a stupid stunt I say to myself , "self, what's the sense of being stupid if you can't show it once in a while?" Self usually doesn't answer. Pat
punxsutawn
I know what you mean. I had an issue with my 2nd hand 550. I should have pulled the print and reviewed everything. A little time consuming but would have saved a lot of agrivation for sure. Once two washers were placed in the proper position, I've not had any problem! MARKAVELI
I have had a few moments like that when I 1st started, a few has come to mind like a over tighten screws that go under the primer tube and the primer bar would not move back into place
fireman275
Hmmm. Now I'm curious about problems that I'm going to encounter. What happened with the crushed primer? I'm concerned about stuff going boom!
Bouttime
Wait untill you get old enough to have those senior moments. Like when you fill the primer tube, and you put the rod in for the low primer sensor and the flap is back. I have crushed a couple primers and nothing has happen yet, but if you do I would say your heart will race a little. Be sure you wear your safety glasses.
