Bshooter
I have an Olympic Arms 9mm upper on a Rock River Arms lower hoping to use in Multi-Gun. I have been experiencing double taps with the gun. I don't know if the RRA trigger is too light or if there are other problems. I have tried many different loads and still the same problem. Can anyone help. Thanks. Bshooter.
RH45
I don't know if it is adjustable, on that particular trigger, but, it sounds like your disconnector is out of adjustment.
ken hebert
My RRA 9mm got to where it was doubling and tripling, replaced disconnector to no avail, finally replaced the whole trigger group to solve the issue. (didnt need any suprise visits from our friends with ATF)
assaulter
Mine does it sporadically. It seems to do it when I am shooting fast, so I wonder if it is bump-firing.
Bjkearns
Ehh this seems like a pretty large issue There was a huge case where I guy went to the slammer whos gun did something similar
Stony Lane
I think the problem is the heavy bolt/carrier unit in the 9mm's. I had a JP trigger put in mine (RRA) and I had frequent (what I hope were) bump fires. (doubles) You have to have a quick finger (get away from the trigger). I had to remove the light trigger. No problems with the stock trigger group. I find it easier to shoot .223 than 9mm because of the heavy bolt/carrier movement in the 9mm.
