twister
What bullet would be best for accuracy in a limited 40? I'm trying to find a load for Bianchi Matches. Thanks for your help,Dave
CHA-LEE
I don't load for UBER accuracy but instead for major PF USPSA loads. The most accurate and consistent bullets that I have used for my USPSA load are Zero 180gr FMJ's.
twister
Thanks Cha Lee, I was wondering if a hollow point would be better?
JCB
I used HP, but in my 9mm, but gave it up. Feeding problems. But they where accurate. Bullet was by HN. In my 40 I now use Berrys 180gr RN FP double strike or what they are called. I dont have any accurrecy problems. Unless its because of the driver But like Cha-Lee said, for me, more important that they are weight consistant. Old Berrys, didnt like those, but the doulbe strike, not to much difference in weight. Also tried Frontier before, but the weight difference there could be huge! Depening on what you shoot on distance, accuracy in weight is more important than hit, for me. Hope it helped a little..... Dan-O-Mite
I'm not much on accuracy as I shoot IPSC , but around these parts Montana Gold seem to be the standard bullet for Standard and Open guys. Anybody know how these rate on the accuracy scale?
RIIID
You might look at the Nosler bullets, I've always got good results from them. I use them when I Ransom rest guns. Rich
DarthMuffin
Montana Gold CMJs here. My only complaint is they're a bit 'slower' than other brands and take more powder. But they're semi-local, support local matches, usually in stock, and not too expensive. Honestly I've never had terrible accuracy out of any bullet I've tried in my Tanfo. They're all more accurate than I am in USPSA Plated bullets (Rainier, etc) were probably the worst, but still not bad. They tumbled out of most conventionally rifled pistols that I tried, but the polygonal barrel in my Limited (HKs and Glocks too) fires them fine. Mo Hepworth
I use either Speer plated 180 or Canadian Bdx 180 cmj
R. Batt
I've only shot Bear Creek bullets out of my Limited, but they have been way more than accurate enough for USPSA.
