eerw
I was rereading through the last front sight and there was a short paragraph about the .357 magnum restriction for major being recinded...does that mean the 38 super guns can make major now in revolver division?? or did I read that all wrong.. I searched here..but I couldn't find a thread about this..thanks for any insight..
spook
That would be cool. We have the ".354 any caliber for major as long as it makes 170PF"-rule in IPSC. It's cool, because most people load .38 specials already, and reloads are a tad faster with the shorter rounds.
Gary Stevens
The answer is yes. And I will gladly take credit for that motion When the new rule book takes effect.

Carlos
Though I am not a revolver shooter, I noticed Major (for USPSA) loading data for .38 Special in the Lee loading handbook; 200 grain Lead bullets at, if I recall, 870 fps. None of my other published data sources list this weight bullet for .38 special.
