Boring Bees

I have boring bees attempting to eat thier way into logs on my log home. I have managed to terminate them with various methods but bee's from hatched eggs act like salmon, return to thier place of birth to lay eggs and die. I'd like some suggestions.

I live in a log cabin. I just call Buckeye Pest Management. They come out and spray the whole house for $150. They'll come back if you still have problems. They have a truck with a sprayer that will reach the highest parts of the house. I don't have to mess with ladders.

I spray bug spray or WD-40 in the holes that are easy to reach, then caulk them. I didn't have any flying around this spring.

We used to have them things down here in Florida at my house I gew up in. It was a game, to get a cedar shingle and smack 'em like little baseballs. After a while, we never had anymore. I'd spray the house...

Thanks for the feedback guys. I'd like to use an open airsoft on them for fun, but they are pretty serious. I appreciate the info. Moderator, you may close this thread.
