Dry fire - mostly DA or SA?

I use it just like you were shooting it. The first shot in dry fire is the double action and the following shots I just release it to where I think the reset button is and click it again. It is not perfect but I think it is better than doing 6 double action shots in a row which is not very realistic in what you do when you shoot. I don't want to get in the habit of letting my finger go well past the reset point.

I dry-fire mostly SA, some DA. Most times I rack the slide in-between pulls to teach my finger/brain where the reset is.

As far as I understand it both DA and SA dry-fire wear on the gun a bit, DA on the trigger spring, SA on the firing pin spring, so factor dry-fire into your equation on when it's time for you to replace them.
