ENPS Zombie Match...

Recommended Posts

Attention all Zombie Hunters---are you really prepared for the zombie apocalypse? Been training lately? Let's find out!

The Eastern Nebraska Practical Shooters are hosting a Zombie Fun Match on October 31st at the Eastern Nebraska Gun Club near Louisville, NE. While designed as a 3-gun match, this also can be shot using centerfire pistol only, .22 pistol only, or as a .22 2-Gun match (.22 pistol and .22 rifle).

In other words, bring what guns you have, and we'll put you in a division somewhere. Bring your family members, too. (After all, when the zombies come, you want them to be prepared, right? Not zombie food?)

This match is for charity, so the match fee is either $20, or a new-in-the-box toy. All toys and money will be given to the Marine Toys-For-Tots Foundation. (Juniors: $5)

So dress in your best zombie hunting gear, and let's see if you have the skills necessary to survive the zombies...

This is going to be awesome! Thanks for setting it up Tom.

No problem. :)

My current plan is to go out to the range on Saturday around 4:30 or so, and take over a bay or two and start setting up. I'm hoping to get at least one stage set up, if not two. I'll be staying until sunset, so no one tries to shoot up our stages. People are welcome to come help... :) (It would be really nice to have 3 or so of the stages already set up before Sunday morning.)

If not---feel free to show up at 7:30am on Sunday to help finish setting up! Bring guns, bring ammo---get ready to drop some zombies!

those stages look awesome! First stage in particular looks really cool (and very different from what you'd see at any typical multi gun event). Sorry i'm not closer to nebraska this week!

edit - double post in error, oops

Zombie Match is past---and lots of zombies have been appropriately dealt with. :)

We had a great turnout---twice as many people as a normal match, and lots of juniors and ladies came to shoot. Thanks to everyone who came early to help set up, and stayed after to help tear down! Raised lots of money (and toys) for the Marine Toys for Tots Foundation, and the two Marines who came to pick up the toys stayed to shoot a bit with us...

Results are up: http://hapkido.4t.com/Zombie1/ZResults.html

Division winners (if your division had over 5 people in it): Come find me, and you'll receive your official "Zombie Hunter" patch. :)

Everyone else---there's always next year! Practice those headshots!
