Genghis
This is what passes for good marksmanship on TV these days. It's a screenshot from the 8/26/10 episode of "Rookie Blue," which is one of the new soaps set in a police department. The instructor's comment as he looked at this target was, "Not bad. Also not good." "Alpha - five Mike" wouldn't make the grade at most matches!

iainmcphersn
Well They only shot one mag at it... Likely only 5 rounds missed the target completely...
caz41
I am not at all impressed with that show. It is more of a soap opera then a cop show. But it appears that is what people want to see on TV these days. I just hate how it makes all the real boys/girls in blue look. And that target would be an automatic fail on my line! BLUTO
Now now - standards are a bit more relaxed north of the border. When I realized it was filmed in Canada, in Can uniforms and the ridiculous 5 way retention holsters (who can work those things) I quickly put the show on the ignore list.
