chirpy
I could be wrong but I don't think any of us trim .40 to length. That is more important in rifle. Richard
herky
For more years than I care to remember I have never trimmed or even worried about case length with a pistol case.
Too_Slow
Unlike rifle cases that get longer through use and resizing pistol cases normally get shorter so trimming is not needed. Brian
TonyT
I have never trimmed a straighht walled pistol case in my life. They are usually renderred unuseable after a number of reloading by fraying at the mouth or splitting. For the high pressure cartridges such as 9mm and 40 S&W I consign the cases to the scrap heap after 4 reloads.
