Zero Range Change with Bullet Change

On the eve of the long rifle stage at the Rocky Mountain 3 Gun I'm probably late in asking, but here goes: I zeroed my scope at 200 yds with a 55grn, 3068 fps BC=.202. What would be be the effective zero range for a 75grn 2709 fps BC=.395 ? Not sure how to manipulate my ballistic calculator software.

You really need to check it on paper, but here is a rough approximation of distance and drop from JBM Ballistics using the data you provided.

55 gr

100 1.4

150 1.4

200 0.0

250 -3.3

300 -8.8

75 gr

100 2.2

150 2.1

200 0.0

250 -4.6

300 -12.1

That's all well and good for trajectory. In one of my rifles, ammo loaded with Hornady 53 grain Match bullets were an inch to the right of the point of aim where all other bullets were going! That was at 100 yards. Would they been off more at a longer distance? Won't know until it's shot on paper and compared. Check your loads for as long a distance you have range access to.
