Have looked at the post- is there any new info from anyone on the use of

red dots-mini's. RE: C-More STS,Burris FFII,Dr. ect. how are they holding

up- what dot size is better-for steel etc. etc. Just got a Ruger MKIII and

want to put one on. Tell me what you know and have/have not tryed.

Thanks

I use a C-More Rail on my Ruger 22/45 and it's great. I have the 8 and 16 MOA dots for it. I do like it but I am looking at dropping some weight (on the gun :)) so I purchased an mRDS sight. It's only .85 oz without the mount so that should cut it down some. I'm interested in hearing what everyone else has to say...

Keep this type of info comming-

I am not the only one that is

looking for this type of stuff,

a whole new group down my way

are buying .22's for steel type

match.

I am in the same situation that you are in.

I recently found this dot. http://www.adorama.com/Als/ProductPage/TABKRD3022.html?sid=1274036990651323

It looks interesting and I might have to give it a try.

Well after much looking and talking to others

who shoot lots of steel, it looks like I am

going with the C-More STS 7MOA dot. Don't get

me wrong, I have a C-More slide ride on my open

gun-but want a smaller lighter setup. I think

that the other dot-3.5MOA might be just a tad

to small!
