Some More G34 Loads

Here are a few more N320 loads I tested yesterday for my G34.

All loads are N320, Wolf SPP, MG 124 FMJ, R-P brass out of a stock barrel. Ran 4 strings of 10 shots each for the following averages.

Group one- 4.3 oal 1.13 FPS 1093.75 ES 22 SD 6.5 PF 135.60

Group two- 4.3 oal 1.14 FPS 1089.75 ES 22 SD 6.5 PF 135.05

Group three- 4.3 oal 1.15 FPS 1090.75 ES 21 SD 6.0 PF 135.22

Group four- 4.2 oal 1.13 FPS 1080.00 ES 24.5 SD 6.75 PF 133.85

Group two was the least accurate. Group four was the most accurate. I measured accuracy using an 8" paper plate ate 25 yards. The most accurate load put 38 of 40 on the flat part of the plate (6")while the least accurate load only put 32 on the plate period.

Temp was 80 degrees.

I've been using 4.1gr of N320 with the same boolitt and same oal out of my G19. I have never chronoed the load but was told by fellow G19 shooters that it would make above 125PF. My issue is the variance of OAL. I sort my brass and was using Win brass and MG 124gr ball. I was trying for 1.130 OAL and the variance was 1.124- 1.132. I have had zero issues running these through my G19's but am concerned about these rounds in a soon to arrive Wilson 9mm CQB. I load on a Dillon 650. Is the OAL variance something to freak out over? I am a rookie reloader

Not really too much to worry about. Seems like OAL floats a little for most folks. You might tighten the shell plate a little and check the inside of your seating stem for gunk buildup. Not a whole lot else you can do.

4.1gr of N320 behind a 124gr MG (1.130 OAL) makes about 1075 fps out of my G34, for a power factor of around 133. I would guess the G19 wouldn't be much slower with a fast powder like N320, but I haven't chronoed that load in my G19 (yet). I like this load a lot out of the Glock.

E5MC, you will likely have to load that Wilson longer than the 1.13 OAL for the Glocks. I am guessing a good start would be around 1.14 or 1.15. Check the sighting in target for the details of the load they shot to sight your gun in.

Thanks Pezco. The accuracy load Wilson uses for the 9mm is a .124gr XTP with 4.4gr Titegroup. Not sure what the OAL is but should have the pistol and test target by Tues.
