genbrad
I just got everything assembled for my brand new 650XL. Everything is adjusted per the DVD and my own training. First station works perfectly, but when a case goes to station 2 the primer refuses to seat and powder drops everywhere. I've taken the primer system out to see what I can see. The problem I think I'm seeing is there is nothing to force the seating spring up to actually seat a primer. What interacts with the primer seating spring thing that actually pushed the primer up??? I know the question doesn't really make sense but I'm getting frustrated
yoshidaex
Is it possible the arm that aligns the case on station 2 (primer/powder station) is not adjusted correctly?
vernbo
start with the basics - do you have primers in the primer disk? you do know you have to 'push' the handle forward to seat primers? do you have the correct primer punch installed -large or small? genbrad
Thank you guys! I got it figured out, there was a little itty bitty burn on the top of primer punch that prevented me from "rocking forward." I little dremel and she works great!
