Considering the cost of the STI Slide to Frame fit kit it looks like I can save some significant bucks just ordering one of these instead of having my smith do the fit. The question is how good do they fit these? The kits on sale for $599 about the same price as a frame and slide. TMC Posted May 5, 2010 Share Posted May 5, 2010 I used one for my open gun and the fit is excellent. I'd do it again not only for thr fit but the time savings. lneel Posted May 5, 2010 Share Posted May 5, 2010 The fit is pretty good....not a custom built gun smooth as glass fit like a Benny built unit or a SV but more than acceptable.
