Register
Would like to try to shoot USPSA Production and wanted to know if the Shadow Custom is legal? Over on the CZ forums there seems to be hints that it is not. The Shadow does not have a FPB, right?
BayouSlide
Unless that specific model is on the USPSA list approved for Production, it isn't. Here're the approved CZs: "CZ100 (24 oz.), CZ100B (24 oz.), CZ2075 Rami 9mm & 40 S&W (25.5 oz.), CZ2075 Rami P 9mm & 40 S&W (23.5 oz.), CZ75 (34.3 oz.), CZ75 Compact 9mm (33 oz.), CZ75 P01 (27.2 oz.), CZ75 SemiCompact (33 oz.), CZ75 SP-01 (41.2 oz.), CZ75 SP-01 Shadow 9mm 4.72" (42 oz.), CZ75 SP-01 Tactical (41 oz.), CZ75B 9mm & 40 S&W (34.3 oz.), CZ75B Stainless (35.3 oz.), CZ75BD (34.3 oz.), CZ75D Compact (28.3 oz.), CZ83 (28.3 oz.), CZ85 (35.2 oz.), CZ85 Combat (35.2 oz.), CZ85B (35.2 oz.), CZ97B (40.8 oz.)" Register
Still a little confused. I see that the shadow is listed so does that include the custom? I don't want to spend $1200 to find out I bought a open class:(

eerw
Yours and others confusion might be between the Shadow Custom and the SP01 Custom. the SP01 Custom is not, because the FPB is removed. which is not allowed under USPSA Production and IDPA rules. Shadow Custom has no FPB in the gun from the factory, has no provision for one to be installed. so that is not an issue. all the other mods on the Shadow Custom meets the rules of USPSA production. I just ordered a Shadow Target today. Can't wait!!!!!!!!!!!
