open17
Time for our annual Special Classifier match. We do this in April every year, just before the local season really kicks off. Anybody have any favorites? Classifiers that an average person might do well on? Classifiers that you thought were just fun to shoot?

Schutzenmeister
I prefer to look at everything our club has done over the last two years and pick 6 stages we HAVEN'T shot!

Nik Habicht
Partial People Eaters Baseball Standards Area 5 Standards Long Range Standards Triple Choice High Standards But seriously, NOT these. Multiple string stages will create a pileup for your competitors Actually they won't --- if they all run roughly the same time. You don't want Bang and Clang in one pit and then a three string standards in the next.... When we pull this off successfully we pair two classifiers in each pit, and build field courses in the remaining pits, for a total of 4-6 classifiers and 6-8 stages. We squad the match by pit, and have squads shoot the classifiers back to back. If we time it out right, pit clearance times are close to identical. Other tricks: Setting the classifiers so that you move downrange from C1 to C2 in the same pit --- allows for scoring/taping behind the competitor, with a delegate of course....
