raz-0
Looking to see if anyone has on the Kodak printers that are supposed to use less ink. Thinking about getting one. Flyin They don't use less ink so much as they use cheaper ink. We got one as a gift for my sister in law. They work, print quality is middle of the road. For book reports, letters, etc. they are fine. For serious photographic work, definitely not. As far as duty cycle and lifespan, I can't say. In that regard, most inkjets stink and I don't expect them to be any better. For a small business that does lots of invoicing and such, a laser printer is money better spent. mscott
I bought one a couple of months ago and it seems to be fine. It is noisy compared to the HP it replaced, but is faster as well. I haven't tried any photos yet. Their ink is less money, but the cartridges are a tad smaller than the HP I used before, so I'd say it's a marketing gimmick. I don't regret buying it so far. ChuckS
I just saw an ad for Lexmark claiming the world's lowest black ink cost. http://www1.lexmark.com/products/view/All-in-Ones/Lexmark-Platinum-Pro905/catId=cat10004-category&prodId=5474-product;jsessionid=20E2B08F057C7A46A0570CE7144799E7.node5 The fight is on!
