jar
I shot a classifier match on Sunday with my M&P 9Pro. Unfortunately I'm in MA, so I'm stuck with 10 round mags. I had a few issues on reloads where the mags wouldn't seat all the way and required an extra tap to lock in. While I was waiting for my mags to come in, I was using borrowed ones and didn't have a problem. I think the issue is the new follower design. Has anyone else run in to this? I'm going to try swapping in some old style followers from my compact mags and see if that fixes it. Is there a source for the old style followers or a way to modify the new ones to solve this? GISMap
You could probably trim the legs off a little, but be very careful that its not enough to squeeze an 11th round in the magazine. Thats the round that makes you want to go on a murderous rampage through a school.
fastarget
New springs could also be the issue here.....try and load the mags and leave them overnight, with use and possibly a little trimming of the follower it will get easier. But I would do the the overnight load trick first. MemphisMechanic
That's the ticket. Fill them and leave em for two weeks, and life will be good. Gotta break in the springs.
