The only downside is that getting to the track may be a pain in the but. You may want to look at a hotel that is north of the i-15/215/515 interchange. ninemmbill Posted March 3, 2010 Share Posted March 3, 2010 Sams Town is a nice hotel. Good rates, nice rooms, good steakhouse (Billy Bob's). It is off the strip a little bit, so there is not much else around it if you have other activities in mind. Travel to and from the track sucks! Lots of construction done in the past couple of years, but it still can take up to 3-4 hours to get back into town after the race. Get there early and plan to stay late. Another option is Alliante Station in N. Las Vegas. It is newer and a bit nicer.
