Looking to shoot pretty much anything right now, USPSA/IDPA to start, then work into 2/3 gun stuff as I buy the gear. Luckily it seems there are a number of events not too far away, though places to practice seem pretty scarce up this way. Glad to be a part of a great community. You are lucky to be in an area where you can shoot USPSA/IDPA almost every weekend during non snow months If you are just getting into USPSA I would recommend North Mountain Practical Shooters in Strasburg Va. I was (and still am by my family) called DJ when I was growing up. Just the initials- I was a jr, and it just stuck after I was out of the house. No one calls me david except the gov't now. Thanks for the other replies, I had seen the North mtn shooters site before, but if I recall correctly, it hadnt been updated in some time so I didnt know if it was still active. Good to know.
