  1. I use pushbike carbon fibre assembly gel. This is designed for bike frames made from carbon fibre. Although very light and rigid , carbon fibre does not like having brackets tightened around hollow tubes as they tend to crack . The gel is a paste containing loads of microscopic plastic balls. As the bracket is tightened, the soft plastic balls are crushed against the bracket and tube, creating huge friction ,without damaging the tube. Works equally well on the nordic ,or any other clamp. When you take it apart it just wipes away. Fiber Grip by Finish line is one - US made -example.
  2. Dave You know you are not supposed to take pics at the shot show.
  3. Yes it will.I have both and they are interchangeable.
  4. Recommended retail price in the uk is about £650 Say $1100.Yes I was a bit disappointed as well. You can try using the raised rail if this does turn out to be the problem.
  5. I had similar problems with my Saiga.Cause was the Eotech sight on the rail above the ejection port. The fired cases were hitting the bottom of the Eotech and rebounding back.I removed the sight and have had no more problems since.
  6. All sorted now.Usual fantastic backup from nordic.Tim PM sent
  7. I talked with Grant about this on Wednesday.....I believe we solved the mystery. You were sent a Remington Nut. We had some of the REALLY old remington nuts mixed in with the Benelli nuts. THEn.....when Grant sent you a replacement, he sent you another remington nut. We talked over the phone about this on Tuesday, and figured out that there were about old remington nuts mixed up with the benelli's. And at the time, they looked so similar, it was hard to figure out. I believe Grant has now talked with you about this and a new nut is or will be on it's way shortly. Sorry about the confusion. Tim Hi Tim Still not received this nut yet.Has it been sent yet?? If you need a reminder of the address PM me.Thanks

Tim Tim Thanks for sorting this.I think you probably spoke to my Brother whos gun it actually is.When I last heard he had not managed to speak to anyone ,and the phone call by him and my post must of overlapped.Anyway thanks again.
  9. The mystery deepens.Spoke to Grant at Nordic. He suggested the wrong tube nut had probably shipped and promised to send a replacement as there is only one nut for the M1 20 bore.True to his word a new nut arrived in double quick time .Thanks Grant. Also sent a free cap. Thanks again Grant.Unfortunately the replacement nut was the same as the original, and correct for the M1,but it does not fit.The UK importer for Benelli also say there is only one nut thread size for this gun.Anybody out there had any similar problems.Cant help thinking that the wrong mag tube has been fittted at the factory.
  10. Tim as quick as ever.Problem is I am in the UK.Should I still call Grant.Midway Uk will certainly swap out the nut if we only Knew which one we neeeded.
  11. Hi Have purchased a +6 Nordic tube for a 20 bore Benelli M1 and have found that the nut is the wrong thread.Midway have it marked up as suitable for the M1/M2 ,but it clearly is not the same thread as the gun tube.I know the nova/supernova use a different threaded nut(Beretta I believe) to the M2 and was wondering if this is similar situation.Does anybody know which nut I need. Tim are you out there??
  12. Hi Tim Have left you a few emails over the last couple of weeks re the replacement tubes.Have had no reply ,have you changed your email address.Anyway can you contact me via pm so we can sort out these replacement tubes??
  13. Is a lot quicker with the magwell ,as you can always load on a closed bolt, and the old mag drops to the floor while you click the new full mag in.You are going to love the new MD magwell if it works as well as the factory version.
  14. Spoke to Tim at Nordic today. What a gent,he is sorting out replacement tubes for me.We need more people who support their product 100% like this in the sport. Big thanks.
  15. Where, when, how! The gun is bear (no pun intended) to reload with speed. I have the factory magwell with the factory 8 round mags ,and it is a simple slip in job.No wiggling or rocking.Push the mag release and the magazine drops out and you can click a fresh one in.Very slick.Magazine insertion can be done bolt open or bolt closed, you cannot tell the difference without looking. Now just need some of those MD 20round drums.
  16. Hi Has anybody else managed to get any of these mag holders.I have had no response to repeated email request ??
  17. Hi I ordered a Nordic Components +6 mag extension for my Supernova. The barrel is 24" so I decided I could use a +7 on occasion and also ordered a +7 tube on its own. I fitted the +6,no problems. The +7 however does not fit the nut.It is actually a smaller external diameter and just slides into the nut without engaging the screw thread at all.The internal tube diameters seem the same. I have another +6 Nordic tube which I also tried and this also is a smaller external diameter,so it would seem to be the recently purchased +6 which is different. I remember TRUBL posting that earlier versions had a smaller thread size and wondered if I had got two of the old stock, although the two smaller tubes are the ones that fit the modified Supernova Nut that was supplied by Nordic to stop the nut hitting the barrel bracket,so these should be the later version. Any thoughts.Maybe if TRUBL could post and let me know.
  18. Hi The +5 M2 overall length of tube and nut is 12.02" and the +6 is 14.39". If you say the +5 is flush with a 21" barrel then a +6 on a 24" barrel will be just over 1/2" short of flush.
  19. Have emailed but still awaiting a reply.I used your name Alex as you requested. Is that why they are not replying to me.
