  1. JFD, Any chance you might check www.target-stands.com I am familiar with the problem of setting up, and got tired of all the work. I wanted something strong, simple and easy. This system is modular, and I can build a 'hotel', if you wish on demand, using standard and cheap lumberyard materials. And non see-thru walls. The secret is in the bracket, which creates a extremely strong base system. Check it out, and see if it may work for your problem. Mark
  2. Ron, any chance you would give us an insight to focal continuum. I am aware that you have studied this at length.
  3. Is this the Ron Avery ?
  4. Paradox, You do not need to place 4x4s in the ground, or 2x4s to build a shoot house, room, or even a Hotel. Modular at any 90 degree direction, with, one person, set up time very fast. One tool! www.target-stands.com What color would you like?, camo's popular.
  5. Dude, Steves right on the money, Sear spring is probably set to light, action on the slide going to battery drops hammer. Other factors may include sear to hammer fit, and we could go into disconnectors ect. Light "feeling" is not always accomplished by reducing spring pressure. Theyre are other ways, and be dependable.
  6. Very Cool, I think the coolest part is that your dad came to take the pictures. Thats got to make you feel good.
  7. Hate Wal-Mart for this Eric, it works for me.................need a cart?
  8. If the hammer didnt drop, can only be so many things. That would scare the shit out of me too.
  9. Im with britin, spring might be weak even if it is new, or the pin was protruding.
  10. J.D. I bet its a 16lb factory spring. Im no super authority, but try running a 15, or even a 14lb with a shok buff and consider changing your mainspring to something lighter after you iron out the recoil spring choice.
