Latest word I got from the AC was that if it makes weight and fits in the box it’s okay now.

I just went to Ace Hardware and got some shorter screws.

I just joined the Atlas party and bought an Athena over the weekend from an Atlas Dealer that had it in stock. It shipped out today. Should have it in a couple of weeks after gun jail. Now I just have to decide which one I’m keeping for a back up. Staccato P or DWX.

Mine was 24+1 from the start in my DWX. No problem cycling.

I’m using a Ghost One S holster for Limited Optics, no problems with the thumb rest.

Yeah I had to cut the grips down to fit. I really like the OEM grips so wanted to try and make them work. Had a friend make the thumb rest. Still working out the details on it. Doesn’t slide lock and not sure the angle is right. Once we get it worked out he is gonna start selling them on his website.

I ordered the Ghost One Evo, It's the 2011/STI model. Just put in the comments that it's for a Dan Wesson DWX. My Staccato P doesn't fit because the trigger guard is too thick. Also don't extend the white nylon screw on the side of the holster that is under the picatinny rail. The screw will get stuck in between the slots on the rail and it's a bitch to get the gun out. Don't ask me how I know.

Yea the SRO is nice and deep, shot about 20 rounds through it to sight it in. Shot really nice, but might have to tweak the sear spring a bit to try and lighten the trigger a tad. Hopefully I can get back to the range this weekend and put a couple hundred down range.

Just got my DWX from CZ Custom after they did the optics cut. 45 Ounces exactly for those interested in IDPA.

The Taylor Freelance fit just fine with the Floyd’s brass magwell. You won’t have to do anything.

I don’t know about Blade tec but I know the Comp-tac fits my Competitor.

Any holster for an M&P 5 inch works. I have a Comp-tac and use it on boss hanger for USPSA, and another with a paddle for IDPA.

That was the way I understood it, but apparently my AC has a different opinion.

I don’t see anything in the new rule book about brass magwells being allowed or not. However the Administrators rule books says check for brass magwell during equipment check (8.1.1.1) is that an oversight from old rule that wasn’t removed or are they not allowed and that’s the only reference.

They do sell just the upper $499 from Sig when they are in stock.
