Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. TFin04 just a thought, I was using Heinie sights because an Insights instructor recomended them. The thin front blade wider notch in the rear is faster to pickup with older eyes. But the Heinie sights are rather dark even with tritium insert. Then I found the Warren Tacticals (from this forum) it still has the thin front sight (same hieght and width as the Heinie in fact you can swap the fronts) but it has a white out line around the tritium insert. I found my times were better and I was picking the sight up on the way to the target faster. http://www.dawsonprecision.com/ProductDeta...08E0-1212763251
  2. Second that I use my AA kit weekly, and I also use it to train Students. I think it paid for itself in the first month. Use the Rem Golden Bullet 550 for 16.95 at Walmart. Ciener's kit was ok when he was the only one around, but the AA is much better, with better support fron AA. I also have a Kimber kit for my 1911, and an AR-.22 kit for my AR!
  3. here is a great video! http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-4...rrett&hl=en
  4. I shoot Berry's in my G35 with no problem. 165 gr +3.6 of clays+wsp
  5. I bought Storm Lake's 40 to 9mm conversion for my G35. I don't have velocities to compare, but the accuracy was very poor. My 3" groups at 25 yards became 6" +. Has any one else had such experience?

    Boobs

Like nucular material their power seems greatest when they collide,, I'm sorry but i make no excuse for admiring women, they are wonderful, and without the differances between us, life would be boring. But i will not tolarate men who disrespect them.
  7. Ditto except i was taught to tilt the gun slightly to match the postion it will return to after recoil.
  8. My curiosity is peaked. we'd have to compare apples to apples , similar guns and holsters etc to get a good answer to the original question. I'm thinking of getting some shooters at my club to try it. and see what a good time would be with an IDPA type rig Just a thought, should the real point be to compete with ones self, and look for ways to refine your form?
  9. I had 20/15 vision for 40 years, 20/20 for the next 5, and now that I finally learned to see the sights lift and everthing is coming together, (thanks to forums like this one) I'm getting far sighted and having trouble seeing the front sight. Eye Drs don't seem to have a clue, and so far every perscripton makes my scores worse because I loose the target. I'd like to learn from other's experience rather than reinvent something you figured out. Curmdgeon
  10. Dear xd9shtr Please let us know how this works out and how fast SA takes care of you. It's not that new guns shouldn't have an occasional problem but how well the mfg takes care of it and you. I have my personal SA tale that I will share at a later date I don't want to prejudice you. Lets just say they were much,,,, slower than other mfg I have had do warranty work on new guns. Hopefully I was an exception.
  11. the Bill drill puts an emphisis on form, if your grip, stance, and sight aquisition are not correct your groups will open as you shoot more rounds and your time will suffer as you try to correct for it. watch the Video http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-4...%3Atodd+jarrett
  12. always move the rear sight in the direction you want the hits to move to
