Like some I didn't read all the above so I may have missed something. I have a 3# trigger on my XD if after numerous practicing and matches it creeps below that I now have to shoot it in limited or limited 10. If they get rid of limited 10 I have a gun that I can no longer compete with? On the other hand I kind of like the idea of a trigger pull restriciton but it will be a major PITA and I wish I had known it before I had the work done to mine

Me being the new shooter I only had a 1911 9mm and 9 round mags so I shot in Limited 10 as it had classifiers. If SS had classifiers I would have shot that. I now shot limited 10 with my XD because thats what I like and its cheaper to shoot than .45 ammo and cheaper than a new gun. The only down side is I have to shoot against down loaded wide bodies. I don't cry I just go on about my way, it is what it is. I hope they keep SS and I'll shoot it more with classifiers but if they got rid of it I'll just shoot my 1911s with 10rd mags no biggie. If they got rid of limited 10 I would be more upset as I like major scoring more than minor, and I would be stuck with minor and my XD if they got rid of L10. I'm a noob so what does my opinion matter right.

I think my crimp is to tight at 473 with lead and jacketed is that about right or to tight.

Wow, between the two XD's I own, and the thousands of rounds run through them the last three years. I didn't realize they were breaking so much. Nothing I enjoy more then "inter-web" gun reviewers. Sig, Heckler & Koch, Glock, CZ, Springfield Armory, Para and Smith & Wesson make GREAT production guns. Narrow your choice down to a couple two or three. Rent them if you can. Shoot each as much as possible. Then you, and ONLY you will know "the best gun". Have fun. Yup broke a lot of parts so far on the service, tactical...wait nope, not a one It would be nice to have them available though. Anyway I don't think there is one "best" gun just the best for one person. I've felt a really nice MP trigger and I still like my tactical from L2S better. I have never felt a nice triggered CZ though. From what I've heard here I think I would like to.

I am kind of married to tg/clays as that is all I can get locally but I didn't mind the smoke that I got with precisions though with 40/45. Won't do it with 9mm anymore though.

I have to order 70$ worth from bear creek which is around 1500 to get free shipping and with berrys you save 10$ if you buy 1k versus the 250 lots.

I'm wanting to do the 180 for major and 135-140 for minor over the same powder charge so I'm not changing anything on my press just changing bullets. Anyway the bear creeks are 54.40 per K on the 180s and 70 for berrys. Just like everybody else I want to shoot as cheap as possible but I also don't want to need fog lamps to see through the smoke either lol. If I'm not going to loose anything with the bear creeks over the berrys I'll try them. I haven't used anything but precision blacks so far and they where ok but of course the bear creeks are cheaper and the precisions aren't but 4$ cheaper per K behind the berrys either. Ideas?

I do reload so down loading the .40 isn't a big deal. THe more I talk/type about it the more I think I'll just stick it out with the .40 until I can afford a limited gun.

If I have both the 9 and 40 the 40 will get the magwell more than likely. Another thing I'm looking at would be a limited gun and if I had that the .40 would be production only more than likely. If I got the 9 I would have it worked just like the 40 and that would be another 500$ on top of the gun... I need to just shoot what I got probably lol.
