  1. I installed the CGW T2 disconnector in my CZ 75 SP01Tactical and now the trigger only pulls when the gun is cocked with the hammer only. Racking the slide causes the trigger to move back to single action, but the trigger cannot be pulled. If I use the decocker, I can pull the trigger. I can also pull the hammer back to pull the trigger, or fire it double action, but its a no go if I just rack the slide. I had previously installed a floating trigger pin and CGW Ultra Lite Kit without issue. Any ideas? Thanks!
  2. David from CGW just got back to me. They've been great! "That's a classic CZ disconnector timing issue from what you described. If it is under 5 years old and has the stock internal parts in the frame it's under warranty through CZ-USA. If not we can correct it, or if you or someone you know can disassemble it and remove the hammer we can send you the info needed to fix this. Let us know if you have additional questions." Still wondering if I should put the CGW disconnector in or wait until the issue is fixed.
  3. Thanks for this. The recoil spring is CGW's 12# spring, I shoot factory ammo, still have the original disconnector. This is a rare occurrence, only twice in 1,500 rounds. So . . . I'm not sure exactly how far the hammer fell. I THINK it didn't fall all the way, but not sure it stopped on the half cock. I do know that the second time it happened, the trigger would not pull the hammer back. After I pulled the hammer back, the gun fired. I do have CGW's floating trigger pin, but this issue happened once with it and once before I installed it. My fear is that this is an non-reproducable problem. What shop will fire 1,000 rounds to have it happen!? So, instead of shipping it off, I'd like to fix it. How does one go about fitting the disconnector? Should I just install GCW's and get the shorter reset to boot or should I fix this first before introducing new variables?
  4. I have had a failure to fire issue three times in about 1,500 rounds where the hammer on my CZ SP 01 Tactical only falls to the decocker point instead of firing off the round. The trigger will not pull the hammer back, it is frozen, so I must pull the hammer back manually to set off the round. Any ideas? I'm thinking it may be the CGW reduced power hammer block spring or the CGW reduced power firing pin return spring. The hammer end of the longer GCW firing pin only sticks out a tiny bit, just the circular tip, if you will. When the gun is held barrel up, the firing pin pushes in with the proper immediate resistance, so it doesn't seem to be sacked. How to fix this? Thanks!
  5. I had the same issue on my SP01 Tactical. I worked the release literally a thousand + times attempting to soften it. But, in the end, I simply jammed a flathead screwdriver between the frame and the top of the spring by the hold screw and tweaked it, just a bit. Didn't have to remove anything, just the slide to get access.
  6. Are you sure about being not IPSC legal? All I'm doing is pulling back the hammer, which one has to do anyway for all manner of misfires. A bit slower, yes, but having every trigger pull be consistent is worth it to me at my level. And, all things get faster with practice.
  7. So, I have the same issue and have bypassed it. That is, I just pull the hammer back as I raise the gun and only fire single action. I practice this move at the range and found it easier and faster then to fire first shot double action and then re adjust for single action. Just pull the hammer and fire only SA!
  8. Ok, I hadn't thought of that. Thanks, I don't wanna be "that guy", so one gun at a time for me. oh, well.
  9. Thanks, I just figured out how to see the sold prices, so I used that and talked him down to $348 (I know, weird price, right?). So happy to own this beauty!
  10. Hi, new guy here. Is 400 a good price for a used Springfield armory XDM45 5.25 with one magazine in great shape?
  11. So, these are the rules ChuckS referenced- "6.2.4 Subject to the prior approval of the Match Director, a competitor may enter a match in more than one Division. However, the competitor may compete for match score in only one Division, and that must be the first attempt in all cases. Any subsequent attempts in another Division will not count for match recognition. 6.2.4.1 Level I matches may allow competitors to enter multiple Divisions for match recognition. 6.2.5 Where a Division is unavailable or deleted, or where a competitor fails to declare a specific Division prior to the commencement of a match, the competitor will be placed in the Division which, in the opinion of the Range Master, most closely identifies with the competitor’s equipment. If, in the opinion of the Range Master, no suitable Division is available, the competitor will shoot the match for no score. 6.2.5.1 However, if a competitor fails to satisfy the equipment or other requirements of a declared handgun Division during a course of fire, the competitor will be placed in Open Division, if available, otherwise the competitor will shoot the match for no score. If a competitor fails to satisfy the equipment or other requirements for PCC or Open Division during the course of fire, he will shoot for no score. 6.2.6 A match disqualification incurred by a competitor, at any time during a match, will prevent the competitor from further participation in the match including any subsequent attempts in another Division. However, this is not retroactive. Any previous and complete match scores from another Division will be included for recognition and awards in that Division." Still not super clear. Yes I can do it, but not be recognized? Does that mean not scored? Or, just not awarded a prize (as if!)? Rule 6.2.4.1 seems to say the exact opposite of 6.2.4, which is exactly why i asked the question here. Let me ask it again; can I shoot both and have two scores to look at at the end? I am a newby who just DQ'ed out of my first match (broke 180 rule during reload while moving to my left, stupid me) and loved the two stages I got to shoot and want to do this MUCH more. So, double the money, double the fun!
  12. Could I pay the entrance fee twice and shoot in two divisions (Limited 10 and Production) with two different guns in one USPSA match? I know that if I DQ on one I'd be gone in both.
