I had this exact same problem with a brand new SP-01 Shadow.  The extractor spring was just out of spec.  Swapped it out for a different (factory) spring and the problem went away.

That's what I'm hoping it is.  I'm gonna buy a bunch from czcustom shop they are cheap. Has anyone tired the dpm recoil guide rod btw?

If your saying all of those failed to extract, yes something wrong with your gun. I assume your not over-sprung or something like that, ejection pattern looks good when it runs?

Didn't pay attention to the ejection pattern, all springs and what not is stock.

  3. Yea, originally just out some white box to break her In and I was excited to wait to get better ammo, I've also tried federal. And most recent at both matches I attended I used precision  delta.

This is very rare for a TS, have you tried more than one type of ammo to ensure its not your load?

OP- If your pistol was purchased new, I'd send it back to CZ to figure out what's going on.  It is not normal/typical for a TSO to have extractor issues with a new gun and factory ammo.

I was thinking the same but I also don't want to be down a month with the gun if I can just change the spring or something easy and cheap.

Not a known issue but easy enough to remedy.  Can take the extractor out in about a minute and change the spring.  I believe there is an extra power spring option available.

I saw there was an extra power spring on cz custom site but it didnt say the TSO specifically. Do you know which would fit?

  5. Bought a new 40 cal tso about 2 months ago and the first two hundred rounds I had about 5 failures to extract, leaving the spent shell in the chamber and attempting to feed another. I thought maybe it just needed breaking in. I shot another 100 rounds with no issue and after that I went to small local match and another 100 rounds.

Thinking things were okay I took the TSO to a level two match and out of ten stages I had nothing but issues on 5 or 6 stages. Didn't matter if it was an oem mag and follower or one with graams and a baseplate.

One of the ro's let me shoot a fresh mag into the burm to test and sure enough it half extracted a case stl left it partly in and tried loading a new one jamming everything up. He mentioned maybe the extractor spring was to weak? Is this a known issue?

Best USPSA match is at Okeechobee Florida.  Monthly level 1 match featuring 8 to 9 stages for $32.  It is like having an L2 every month for $30.  They also have 2 gun outlaw, action steel, and SCSA on different weekends.

Homestead has USPSA and SCSA monthly as well.

Makham park has USPSA matches but usually limited to 3 stages because of the single large bay limitation they have.

I frequent these matches especially OK Corral in Okeechobee its a 2 hour drive each way however. I was referring to not enough 3 gun action around here.

  7. Relatively new to the forms and haven't posted on here yet. Currently living in Miami FL, doing mostly uspsa trying to get into three gun, but I can't seem to find to many events down here. Current guns are a sig320x5, Cz TSO 40., stoeger m3k and a dpms oracle with some mods.

  8. Ill look into it a bit more, I'm gonna take it to a match first time this Sunday , kind of a bummer its not flush from factory. May end up sending it out, I'd be a bit nervous grinding it down and leaving the metal exposed. Since ill be running it in limited I'd just rather the mag funnel be as smooth as butter every little bit counts! I appreciate all the feed back!

How do you guys post pics ? do you resize them first i can't get my phone to take a pic smaller then a couple MB's

  9. Hello my now fellow cz folk.

I purchased a Tso in 40 about  a month and a half ago. I haven't been able to get to much time with her as I'd like, I have been able to put roughly 200 rounds through her. Had a couple of questions however.

1.) While putting some rounds down range I had several failures to eject (Winchester white box) gun would fire and slide would move no issues but the extractor either completely did not even extract leaving the shell in the barrel or it would stove pipe. This happened roughly 10-20 times mostly in the first 125 rounds and then no issues for the rest. I have some better ammo on order so hopefully it's just that or maybe it just needed some breaking in?

2.) the mag well to frame fit is not good, at all. I feel like the mag well won't go all the way forward into the frame and it is not a very flush fit. Is this normal for these guns? Can CZ remedy this under warrenty? My sig 320x5 has a flush mag well and it's half the price. I'll tty and get some pics when I'm home because of the Pic size issue.

    Welcome, enjoy the Sig ride!!

I for one have never been a Glock fan, I'm sure they are nice guns but just not to my taste and fit.

My first striker fired gun was an X5 that I fell in love with over time, I just added a P365 to my collection and planning on making it my everyday CCW. I still like and carry my FN FLP 40, but if the baby Sig proves out, I'm guessing it will see a lot  of time.

I feel the same way, glocks have never felt like my cup of tea. I will be adding a 365 as a daily carry however I want to finish building my shotgun, rifle and my tso first so it may take a while. This hobby has turned out more expensive then mountain biking, but damn I'm hooked.

  11. Relatively new to forums her. I currently own a couple competition guns but my first was a 320x5 so I gotta show the love

    Upgrades are

    Grey gun trigger

GG fat rod with a 12 lb spring

    Go guns *thumb rest [generic]*

    Txg grip

    Silicone carbide grip

And lastly slide lightening and  work by Fabricated arms I'd recommend great work and turn around time

In the future I'll add a pringer precision paddle mag release and maybe a Keres adjustable trigger

Recently bought a CZ TSO I was running the sig at limited minor but will now be used as a three gun pistol.

Any critiques or tips are welcome!

I do have it with the GG kit. It works and I love its adjustability. The over-travel is almost gone and you can eliminate almost 100% of the pre-travel but I leave a little pre-travel.

Before you ask, no I have not measured the trigger weight as I do not have any fancy gauge. It feels the same.

The trigger is very thin and light but it is solid. It is a great product.

Thanks I'll Def be picking one up, I know it's relatively new to the market but I'm sure alot of people here will be glad to have the heads up!

I have all the different trigger shoes and the Keres adjustable is my favorite

Do you have it with a GG set up or stock? Did you find that the adjustability is worth it and makes a difference in this case?
