You could still send that grip module to Springer Precision for installation of any of their P320 magwells. They’d be able to cut off the integrated flare and graft a new magwell to the bottom of the module - or just remove the magwell portion entirely which might make it closer to Production/CO legal. All three of my Tactical Carry modules are going to Springer for installation of their ESP magwell once I get themTrue but why make a competition model grip that is a illegal to run in CO when this is the most popular CO gun now. Id hate to dish out that much money to then have to dish out more to make it legal for the division. It does looks sweet tho.

GG Hybrid competition kit (with the NP3 sear) competition sear springs + the heaver trigger return spring +armory craft trigger. have about 0.012" pre-travel, zero over-travel , positive reset.....
What advantage did the return spring give? Did the np3 make a big difference

I know you guys like to chase the elimination of pre and over travel. The new GG kit has adjustable over travel but in my experience their sear does little to improve its disengagement, or what happens between the take up and the break. GG is essentially the same character as OE with lighter springs and narrower trigger shoe which I didn’t like. It wasn’t until I asked Robert Burke what he does on his jobs did I realize there’s no way around his .005” sear cut and custom fit/polish/tune. The 2nd wall after the initial wall is gone, shorter and smooth clean break. I liked it enough to have him do a second Legion and it came back as consistent as the first. Thought I share in case anyone want to chase the maximum edge.
I'd love to be able to compare side by side. Alas every shooter around me has gone the GG kit, no one has used Sig armorer , perhaps a cost factor?

I think I may give this a shot. I have an x5 and a legion both running gg kit. Ill try 1 for now. Basically all im doing is GG install with this trigger instead?
Yea i have everything that came in the GG kit as far as the springs and what not just swapped the trigger to the AC one

I do like the wide aspect as well as the grip on the face of it. It is much easier to get a reference for my finger.

I doubt it would be considered legal for CO considering the magwell. That aside, I’m not sure if USPSA has ruled on whether or not a P320 grip module counts as “swappable grip panels” for the purposes of competition modificationsI guess it would only work for limited minor then, it would be nice if they made that competition one without the magwell and made it so you can add a magwell of choice .

Based on their web store and Instagram posts, it appears Icarus is phasing out the original X-Carry module and all of the P320 modules they’re offering going forward favor the thinner, better grip texture Tactical Carry style - Which in my opinion is a good move. Their newly released competition module looks like it has an even more aggressive grip texture that extends 360 degrees around the grip as well as down the integrated magwell:

I wonder if that's CO legal its like half a magwell..

First off wow, this combination is amazing.
Firstly i have a regular x-5 with a TXG grip, i had the earlier non adjustable grey guns kit installed. A buddy recommended the armory craft trigger and i got it several days ago as it was finally in stock. The combination after adjustment is little to no take up and the brake right at 90 with no overtravel. Can't wait to actually shoot it. I've read here and there the legion trigger bar allows for an even better feel or lighter pull is there any truth to this?

Thank you to everyone for the replies.
It was indeed the pre-travel screw. I adjusted it a little took it out for a test and it worked great. Shot a local match on Sunday and the pistol ran well for all stages.
Thanks again!

Hello I have a buddy who recently I've gotten to join in on USPSA matches. He bought a Walther q5 match steel. He purchased the +5 from TTI so it should hold 23 but he can't get past 20, does the follower have to be changed? I couldn't find a grams kit for it either. Any help is appreciated.

Nice I'm going to be there next week but moving over end of the year in the round rock/ hutto area

Have plans to move to North of Austin Texas ( Round Rock area ) at the end of this year. Anyone know where i could rent out a bay for practice not to far away and where there i s good uspsa and 3 gun matches hosted?

I believe Nexus will let you but you have to qualify for it.

Remove your your slide there's an adjustment screw for the trigger for i believe post travel try backing it out a couple turns it may be to tightly adjusted.

Anyone have experience with the strike industries PIT stock, i love the look but wonder how comfortable it is especially since it has a weird curve

I don’t have a pic, but the optic doesn’t touch the slide on either end. That bothers some people.Hmm i get what you mean, still the plates ive seen make it sit pretty high and back so im just curious.

Anyone have any pics of how the SRO sits in the newer slide. I'm wondering how low it mounts.

I don't know why a 4.7" slide wouldn't work for you.
I have this one as my "optic slide".
It's cut for RM1P or DPP.
OOS currently
Id want to use my same barrel and swap slides wouldn't it look kinda silly if the barrel stuck out a lot?

Honestly probably better to silicon carbide it. I stippled my original x5 grip and it was better, my TXG grip has the SC and its WAYYY better
-
I run a flat one of these and it has been great no issues at all and i love it. I had gotten mine on sale for 175 a while back. https://www.opticsplanet.com/elftmann-tactical-3-gun-trigger-curved.html

I think if you got long grips it should cover everything. If you have a buddy that has a shadow 2 with stock length grips give it a go.

Whenever i load 20 in my tso. 40cal it always has a rattling round , hasn't really been in issue

+1. In fact to get the most out of certain trigger upgrades like armory craft for example, the legion trigger must first be installed.
Like a whole Legion FCU?

How many rounds are you putting in the mag? I run 20 in my .40 i could fit 21 but i think its to tight of a fit to have the slide cycle properly. Also is it with just the one mag or all of them?
