That looks great how did it shoot .. i wonder if you could use a oring on barrel to keep comp from turning so you don't have to red loctite it .. Seems the red would make it a pain to take apart As a side note my Comp from my MPX fits the threaded sig barrel just fine looks a bit weird though

So thats next year on the magwells and nothing special just a owb that's gonna fit with the comp and a romeo1.. I have a iwb that will work with comp as its open ended and set for the Romeo 1

Starting my project soon picked up a Xcarry today .. where did you get the magwell? my problem might be finding a left hand holster

While surfing on light duty today at work .. foot injury i think im going with the x carry grip / the springer shorty comp / want a magwell like what is on my x5 but haven't seen then separate. i keep flipping back and forth on do i want a red dot .. it usually is a comet or a big blur for me with my eyes .. wanna try a trijicon rmr see if that makes a difference . As if i dint need some other project to spend my money on

Thanks for the info i have a Carry taco's which has the threaded barrel and suppressor height sights all ready the ideal of a comp hadn't really come to mind till i saw this thread .

Who did you order the comp from? Is that bar sto also like the barrel?

Cost of conversion kit come down then a 22 ,38 super , most important to me a 10mm and hey while we’re at it how about a 38 special wadgun

I like it i have a mini tacops that I would like to do same think to roughly add the comp since it all ready has a threaded barrel and change out grip for the x carry style can’t wait to see newbarrel and comp setup you ordered

Im going to play the wait and see game .. my daily carry isn't a p320 I've been waiting for the x carry to maybe fill that roll .. i want to see if people complain of issues after the upgrade.. since the X5 isn't bothered and the p320 tacops carry isn't a daily carry its easy to wait ..

Runs fine for me i never use the slide lock on any handgun to try and release the slide so its not a issue for me

Shot the x5 and tp9sfx again today not much changed in my opinion got the x5 dialed in for the loads I'm shooting ...no issues with it at all tp9sfx still find rear sight distracting and something on the trigger has rubbed my finger raw shot about 200 thru each today still won't lock back on 20 round mags

All right this will be the quick version of my impressions so far .. both guns were shot back to back using the same handholds 124 grain lead bullet over hs-6 can't give the exact load as I'm up at my family cabin on vacation all the data is at home . start with the x5 the trigger is way better love that flat trigger sights are better (maybe) could be the different shape of the Tp9sfx Rear sight was distracting fit my hand better/ Balance felt better less felt recoil impulse and muzzle rise 21 round Mags but dang they are pricey if you can find them Tp9sfx 20 rounds mags can be had a lot cheaper but none of them locked back except a 18round i had first shot trigger pull is a lot longer grip was noticeable smaller (i didn't change the grip insert to see if this would make it better) this in turn made the gun more squirmy under recoil felt like it wanted to shift side to side Also felt recoil impulse and muzzle rise seemed higher I'm gonna blame the small grip again The sights are different maybe because I'm not used to the style/shape or the rear my eye kept getting drawn to the rear its rounded off on the edges. Ill try to snag a pic when shooting slow both were about same as far as accuracy . Fast shooting for me the x5 just worked the best. The trigger reset is about the same on both guns. the first shot being glock style long on the tp9sfx but as i said a nice short reset . I will weigh the triggers when i get home anything else ask away ill answer if i can I think i will put a red dot on the Tp9sfx since it is not slaved to the romeo 1 like the sig change the backstop and go from there . ill change the backstop first before ill add a red dot to it Holsters so far seem about the same to get one I'm a lefty so its more of a pain for me no matter what

Just got done shooting the first hundred thru the x5 and Canik tp9sfx didn't get as much shooting in as i wanted started to rain and the gong on shepards hooks kept tilting the ground is so saturated up north where I'm at on vacation both ran flawlessly both shot a bight high and to the right but all the guns i tried it in did the same load seems a little hot .. nothing to exciting to report they both shot

Thats why i went with the Comp Tac it'll be my first kydex holster guess ill see how i like um
