We have had two different guys at our local club DQ in the last month because they did not get their gun properly latched into their race holsters. As soon as the buzzer went off, they turned and the gun hit the ground. Happened at two different matches but both of them happened in the same bay, the same way. Always confirm that the gun is latched into place.

Lol now this is the truth. I was first shooter on the on the first stage at an IDPA match and totally forgot 2 targets in the first array. When I got the last array I looked at my gun like why the heck haven’t I had to reload yet and I realized what I had done but it was too late at that point to make it worth going back.

I was invited to a different type of match in April and decided to try USPSA the following month and its been a blast so far. Looking forward to the next few years to see how far I can progress.

Hello from rural central Indiana. Shot my first match this year in April which was an IDPA match and have since shot several IDPA, USPSA, One SCSA and one ICORE match. I really like USPSA the most and plan to pursue it the hardest. One of my co workers is who invited me to the IDPA match and all the other matches and now blame him for my new addiction. ?. I started out with my Glock 19 in limited and am now shooting my Glock 34 in production. Hope to learn a lot from you all! Thanks for having me!
