Anyone know what the "competition blend (rear safety to frame)" upgrade option is on the Priest order form? I don't see any differences in any of the pictures that I can spot.
I asked that same question today when I called to finalize my build. I was given this photo as a comparison. Blended is on the bottom. Hope it helps.

Sorry, didn't read your entire post. No need to cut the inner belt. At least for me that hasn't been an issue. You're already on the rught track. I cut it so that when tightened all the way down there is still a gap.

I did exactly this over three years ago to my Double Alpha belt. I hit the ends with a lighter. The synthetic material melts and prevents fraying. Three years of matches and 3 to 4 days of dryfire a week. It has help up completely fine with no fraying.
Best belt upgrade I've made.

I like Weber Tactical and Coda Evolution. It's alow priority piece of gear for that game though. We're not exactly slamming a ton of reloads.

I use carbon arms on all my belts. My main belt sees dryfire an average of five days a week and matches. No issues yet on any of them. If you can get past the minimum transaction limit buy with confidence.
Can't speak to the other brand you mention.

Full JP build with a Razor, Khales, or Swaro on top. I also think 6x is plenty for 3 gun.
Use JP's Rifle Builder and spec one out like you want it.

How has the toolhead been treating you?
Has anyone else bought this and the quick change system?

This can be such a deep rabbit hole to get lost in. It's largely personal preference. Bipods feel like cheating. You don't necessarily need bags though they do make things easier.
A good Harris bipod will do just fine and could possibly be more advantageous due to the way it deploys over say an Atlas. I haven't had that particular scenario come up though . I use an Atlas, but a Harris will save you some money.
For bags I went the ARCA route with an Area419 rail and a grip changer. It is expensive and overkill I know and I will never go back. The grip changer is enough bag in most cases and allows me to move it around on the rail and never have to think about fiddling with it on the clock. I occasionally qd mount a super light rear bag to my stock if I know I will spend a lot of time prone.
My local area has a strong 2 gun scene and this setup works really well for that. Depends on what you need to do. 80% of our shots are inside 400 yards with occasional targets in that 400-600 yard range.

Sounds like you really have done your homework.
I did everything you listed in Option 1 and the results have been impressive. I allow the bolt to travel just enough to reliably eject a case. This setup cycles the bolt quickly and has little dot movement.

There are a few podcasts where Josh Froelich mentions that shooters were limited to 10 round magazines. He was the champion of the 2018 IPSC Shotgun World Shoot.

The JP Ti is a great comp. I have one on my full JP build.
I also picked up a Precision Armament M4-72 at 2.6oz. It does look goofy on a pencil barrel though.

If TF isn't working for you and you don't want to support Taran's continued search for the "Precious" then MBX is the next best thing.
Though, MBX is the only extension I've seen fail (explode rounds) on a stage. Small sample size and have no idea what those two competitors did to their mags.

Completely agree. Throw in an SCS if you had an extra $140 and you'll have a completely different rifle.

I have purchased two JPs. One 18" and one 14.5". I have since sold the 18" as I can easily get hits out to 600 yards with the 14.5" and it handles much better on bay stages. After making numerous modifications to my setup my recommendation would be to buy an upper if you are going to buy anything.
I would just build a lower and use the controls, trigger, stock, and buffer that you prefer. I changed all these on my JP over time. I think JP has a pretty long wait right now though and if you know what you're doing a home build will be every bit as competitive.
I have two bay match builds that I am messing around with and both have the JP LMOS carrier and the SCS. With an adjustable gas block they feel every bit as smooth and soft shooting as the factory guns.

Came here to also recommend FS Tactical. He used my Chaos as his original Atlas holster and my Erebus as well. I still use his hooded holster for my Erebus. He makes good stuff and will work with you on getting exactly what you want.
For a while his stuff was sold directly on Atlas's site.

I would, of course, zero on the center dot. You will see most people zero anywhere from 12 to 25 yards with a few outliers on either end. The majority of competitors will be using a single dot since it's a cleaner/simpler visual presentation. Though, I'm sure you could make this work for you if you prefer it.

Hiperfire Hipertouch Eclipse is the go to for a lot of PCC competitors. It stands up to the beating of the blowback design. Very crisp trigger, weight can be changed with included springs, and it has a forceful reset which is an oft overlooked quality in a trigger.

You certainly do not need the monolithic SCI-20 to hit targets at distance. The CTR-02 is mostly an aesthetic upgrade and has been around awhile. I use the standard JP-15 and have connected out to 600 with no problem. Either of those would be fantastic competition rifles.

I'm not sure what you mean by "correct" height over bore. I use a JP 45° mount that works just fine.

Vit N320 is a great powder. I have used it in the past but moved to Clean Shot when N320 became too expensive for me.

Are you Atlas mags still performing well compared to the MBX mags?
I have a pile of 170s and need to stock up on 140s for limited optics. Atlas mags being $30 cheaper adds up when you're buying in bulk.
